Exploring AI in Design
I’m committed to building trust with every brand and audience. In parallel, I’m diving deep into AI tools to bring new efficiencies and creative possibilities. This project shows how I balance respect for the brand’s values with a readiness to apply AI where it can best support thoughtful design.
For this project, I developed a hypothetical campaign for the Frankie’s Bikinis x Jennie launch. While Frankie’s typically leans into a relaxed beach vibe, I reimagined it with a culturally relevant twist—placing the brand in a vibrant festival setting. With festival season around the corner, this spin maintains Frankie’s core aesthetic while expanding it into a fun, festival-inspired narrative.
Kafe Skin: AI Campaign Exploration
An AI-assisted campaign exploration for Kafe Skin, a coffee-infused face wash concept. Using generative tools, I explored how the brand could move beyond traditional clean beauty into a more tactile, editorial world inspired by 90s beauty campaigns, glossy skin, espresso tones, almond milk textures, and bold logo-driven compositions.
The project uses AI as a rapid art direction tool, helping define campaign mood, product storytelling, and visual language before moving into full production.
Role: Art Direction, Prompt Design, AI Image Exploration, Campaign Concepting
Tools: Nano Banana, Adobe Firefly, Figma
Focus: Beauty campaign imagery, product storytelling, visual identity exploration
Kafe Skin:
AI-Assisted Pop-Up Concept
Kafe Skin is a speculative beauty concept I originally developed during the pandemic, and more recently it has become a vehicle for exploring how AI can support my design process beyond image generation alone. I’ve been especially interested in experimenting with AI tools like Nano Banana, Runway, Marpipe, as well as Figma Make, Figma’s AI-driven prompt-to-app tool for turning ideas and existing designs into functional prototypes, interactive UI, and web experiences.
Starting from an imagined skincare pop-up in SoHo, I used AI to help visualize a branded retail environment, expand that world into a microsite, and concept supporting campaign assets like email and paid ads. This project allowed me to test how AI can accelerate early-stage ideation, environmental concepting, and layout exploration while still keeping brand direction, typography, editing, pacing, and final refinement in my hands.
Using Figma Make also helped me think through UI and UX more dynamically, since it supports building and iterating on functional prototypes and web concepts through prompts, images, and existing Figma designs.
